These initiatives help diabetes camps as they provide encouragement, education and motivation to children living with diabetes and their families. We are sincerely thankful for their support!
At this time, we offer the following support opportunities:
Sustaining Partners are major contributors who support our purpose of helping children learn how to live well with diabetes. They are the bedrock on which we build vital programs and services which we provide to our members and the diabetes camping community.
Sustaining Partners are those who commit to contributions of more than $17,500 annually. We will tailor a package of benefits for Sustaining Partners to ensure the recognition and mission support they value most and believe in the power of an ongoing dialogue with our Sustaining Partners. The following are suggested benefits for Sustaining Partners:
Summit Club supporters partner with DECA and its member camping programs to dramatically enhance the lives of youth with diabetes, through education and advancements in diabetes care.

DECA’s 2019 Diabetes Camping Conference will convene on February 17th and 18th in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. The meeting will address Empowering Diabetes Youth thru Camping. The program will include general and breakout sessions with emphasis on the Medical, Administrative and Program aspects of operating diabetes camping programs. Diabetes care professionals from throughout the United States and other countries will be in attendance.
DECA recognizes the value of communicating information from businesses and organizations that is relevant to the operation of diabetes camping programs and/or the care of youth living with diabetes.
Calling The Shots – Semi-Monthly Newsletter
DECA publishes a semi-monthly electronic newsletter. It provides information to 2,000+ diabetes camping leaders and other interested parties.
