Diabetes Youth Services (DYS) is a Toledo- based nonprofit aiming to support those living with type 1 diabetes. We offer not only 4 summer camp sessions ranging from 5-22 years old, but support groups, mothers retreats, and services like Family Connection and School Nurse Training. We services 34 counties in the Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan area, so don’t hesitate to reach out! Leadership Retreat - Stay Tuned for Dates July 2023

Every year young adults join us for a weekend experience that includes making great friends, fun activities, guest speakers, and open discussions. This is a valuable weekend that helps any young adult managing type 1 diabetes make meaningful connections to help them cope with T1D struggles. You will meet adult type 1’s who share their expertise is a variety of subject areas and how type 1 has impacted their life. They will learn valuable life lessons from these mentors and from each other. Winter Retreat is a great time to get away from the stress of school, activities, friends and family. They simply have a blast together. Scholarship applications are due by July 2023. You do not need to pay anything to register. Big Shots Resident Camp

Middle Shot Resident Camp

Camp Little Shots in Tecumseh, MI
