The Onyahsa Community is a friendly group of people from varied cultural, economic, social, and ability-based backgrounds. While participants who experience Onyahsa tend to return, we warmly welcome many newcomers each year. A lot of these new members arrive without knowing anyone else at Camp, but they leave with friends for a lifetime! Most of our campers and staff reside within 100 miles of the Camp, but we also welcome participants from throughout the US and Canada; in addition to our growing enrollment from Europe and Asia. Participants with handicapping conditions are also valued community members. Our diversity helps youth to prepare for life in the Global Age, while common values; especially Honesty, Respect, Responsibility, and Caring, unite us.
