Diabetic children are a special group of individuals who live everyday with challenges unique to them. This organization was started by parents of diabetic children as a support system and advocacy group that helps both diabetic children and their families. At camp campers enjoy a fun filled weekend of swimming, educational activities, games, arts and crafts. Health care professionals, educators, and volunteers provide supervision throughout the camp program under the guidance of local Pediatric Endocrinologists. Our goal is to provide a fun and safe camping experience for children who have diabetes, and that children do not see their diabetes as on overriding issue, but rather an important added factor.
