DECA Conferences and Programs – Diabetes Education & Camping Association

DECA’s 2024 International Diabetes Camp and Retreat Conference

Sunday and Monday, February 4th and 5th

Mark your calendar! DECA’s 2024 International Diabetes Camping Conference will be held in New Orleans, Louisana, USA February 4th & 5th (Sunday-Monday). This meeting will focus on the administrative, programming and recreational aspects of diabetes camping and retreat programs. (The date of a 2024 diabetes camping Medical Conference will be announced in the near future.) While there is no timeframe that is perfect on everyone’s calendar, this gathering is immediately before the American Camp Association (ACA) National Conference taking place Tuesday – Friday February 6-9. The Hilton New Orleans Riverside will serve as the site host for conference sessions and lodging.

The DECA Conference will begin with a structured social gathering on Saturday evening (February 3rd) and will continue with a formal program of educational breakouts, a keynote luncheon, and don’t miss the 3rd Annual DECA SWAP on Monday.

The Conference Planning Committee is busily working out the details of two-days of outstanding program offerings. Based on the most recent attendee feedback we have live speakers, intentional networking opportunities, and the opportunity for remote (online) attendees to participate in the conference.
