Camp Cure provides a safe and fun environment for children in grades K - 8th with diabetes. Campers enjoy arts and crafts, swimming and sports led by Children's Hospital specialists and camp staff. Campers learn about diabetes, how to manage their diabetes and how to deal with feelings about diabetes. Campers are divided into groups based on their grade in school and maturity. Each group is closely supervised by adults and specially trained nursing staff.
