Camp He Ola Ke Keiki is a 3-day camp for children between the ages of 7 and 14 years old who are living with Type 1 Diabetes. Attending summer camp helps children develop social skills, self-respect and life-long friendships. Kids have the opportunity to meet others just like them while fostering independence, building self-confidence and gaining an awareness of a healthy lifestyle through education, nutrition, exercise, emotional well-being and glucose control.
