Camp Tanagers overnight camping experience is a unique opportunity for youth to meet others facing the same challenges of living with diabetes. Our 24-hour staff of physicians, nurses, and counselors are closely involved with the day-to-day activities of the campers to ensure their medical well-being. This dedicated team will enable your child to gain confidence while building self-esteem, allowing them to develop their diabetes self-management skills.Â Together, we are committed to fostering self-reliance and independence. Camp Tanager builds life-long memories and relationships for people of all ages through a fun and memorable summer camp experience. Campers leave empowered, knowing the experience and knowledge gained will serve them for the rest of their lives. We have a sliding fee scale and provide assistance as needed
