Campamento Familiar en Español is the same great programming and excellent diabetes education as our weekend Family Retreats, but all in Spanish!
Year-Round Weekend Retreats Held in various locations including the Bay Area, participants will build community as they enjoy numerous camp activities and learn about the latest in diabetes management from our team of health-care professionals. Our Family Retreat weekends are located in the Bay Area and they are the perfect opportunity to experience a dose of Family Camp closer to home.

Family Backpacking is an introductory backpacking program ideal for one youth living with T1D, and a parent or guardian, who are ready to challenge themselves on a great adventure outdoors!
Buddy Camp is a unique program built for kids age 7-15 who want to share the diabetes camp experience with a non-type 1 buddy or sibling.
Teen Camp is designed to support the lifestyle and social interests of high-school aged teenagers living with type 1 diabetes. At Teen Camp, teens will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities, including sports, visual arts, performing arts, and wilderness, and engage in new experiences together with friends.
The Teen Backpacking Program is a backpacking adventure for teens who love or want to learn how to backpack while managing their diabetes. This program is for those who want to push themselves and accomplish something challenging while building community.
For Children Ages 7-13, Kids Camp offers a safe, comfortable, and fun away-from-home experience for kids with T1D
The Teen Multi-Sport Adventure Program is ideal for adventurous teens with type 1 diabetes who are ready to challenge themselves through rock climbing, backpacking, and whitewater rafting. July 14-25* in the High Sierra Wilderness for ages 15-17.
Family Camps 1 and 2 are for families with children ages 0-17 with T1D, while Family Camp Flipped is for families with a parent with T1D.
Leaders in Training programs are perfect for teens with and without diabetes who are ready to take the next step in developing their leadership skills.
Family Camp Flipped has the same great programs as our Family Camp, but is designed for family members, friends, and partners supporting an adult with T1D.
Family Camps 1 and 2 are for families with children ages 0-17 with T1D, while Family Camp Flipped is for families with a parent with T1D.
CDLN is located in the Santa Cruz Mountains and offers all the summer camp fun, closer to the San Francisco Bay Area. July 29-August 3 at Loma Mar for ages 7-17
*NEW* Sequoia Slipstream (formerly Adult Retreat) in collaboration with Connected in Motion Join us for a weekend of community, connection and continuing Type 1 diabetes education for adults with T1D and their Support Crew. Experience the first of its kind – a unique blend of adventure, community, and diabetes-focused education amidst the serene backdrop of nature. August 2-4 at Bearskin Meadow Camp for ages 18+
All DYF community members are invited to join in this fun whitewater rafting weekend! Ages 10 and up
