What Does Fall Family Camp look like in 2021: Here are some highlights! Camp is open for ages 4-12, but older kids are welcome to attend and will serve as counselors in training (CITs). Do note that all children are required to have a parent or guardian stay on-site all day if they are under age 18. It is a day camp on Saturday (Registration begins at 9 am, and camp ends at ~8:30 pm after a sing-along at the campfire.) For families who have to travel longer distances, we offer overnight lodging in the cabins on both Friday night and Saturday night for a small fee. Lunch and dinner are provided with each registration, and carb counts are given for the meal. Those who stay over on Saturday night, will also receive breakfast on Sunday morning before they depart. Free for children with diabetes, but the whole family is invited since parents get education while the kids do their activities. For adults and children without diabetes, we do require a small registration fee that varies based on whether they stay overnight or not. Activities include a karate icebreaker and games, arts & crafts, relay games & volleyball (sometimes kickball), and then we give the kids free time with their parents before dinner (most people canoe on the lake during this time), and of course a hay-less "hay-ride" over to the campfire at the end of the evening.
