    Camp Holiday Trails creates a community that empowers children and teens with medical needs to thrive. Camp Holiday Trails (CHT) is a year-round nonprofit camp in a natural setting at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Central VA. CHT incorporated as a nonprofit in 1973 and since that time has provided over 10,000 kids with medical needs the opportunity to experience a positive camp experience. Our Campers, age 7-17, are welcomed from throughout the United States with the majority coming from the Mid-Atlantic region.

    Upcoming Camp Holiday Trails Programs

    Session 1 - Young Campers

    • Dates: June 17, 2018 to June 22, 2018
    • Audience: Youth & Teen
    • Program Type: Overnight Camp

    Session 1 is for children ages 7-17. It is for children and teens with medical needs who function at a cognitive and behavioral level within one or two years of their actual age. Our Campers are socially, mentally, and emotionally able to participate in group activities and community living.

    Session 2

    • Dates: June 24, 2018 to July 06, 2018
    • Audience: Youth & Teen
    • Program Type: Overnight Camp

    Session 2 is for children ages 7-17. It is for children and teens with medical needs who function at a cognitive and behavioral level within one or two years of their actual age. Our Campers are socially, mentally, and emotionally able to participate in group activities and community living.

    Camp Youngblood - Bleeding Disorder

    • Dates: July 08, 2018 to July 13, 2018
    • Audience: Youth & Teen
    • Program Type: Overnight Camp

    Camp Youngblood is for children and teens ages 7-17 with a bleeding disorder and their siblings - who function at a cognitive and behavioral level within one or two years of their actual age. Our Campers are socially, mentally, and emotionally able to participate in group activities and community living.

    Session 3

    • Dates: July 15, 2018 to July 27, 2018
    • Audience: Youth & Teen
    • Program Type: Overnight Camp

    Session 3 is for children ages 7-17. It is for children and teens with medical needs who function at a cognitive and behavioral level within one or two years of their actual age. Our Campers are socially, mentally, and emotionally able to participate in group activities and community living.

    Family Mini-Camp

    • Dates: July 29, 2018 to August 01, 2018
    • Audience: Families of Youth & Teen
    • Program Type: Overnight Camp

    This camp is for families of children with chronic illnesses and medical needs. Our family camps focus on the whole family's time allows for families to come together participating in fun activities, as well as grown-up and kid-focused activities.
