Camp Gilbert is a safe community of connection and education for children living with type 1 diabetes. At camp children ages 8-18 have the opportunity to make lasting friendships with others who have diabetes. There are water activities, boating, fireside sing-a-longs, games, and more! This is a time for learning, with educational sessions covering nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle management.

Camp Gilbert is a camp for kids with diabetes ages 8-18. Children have the opportunity to make lasting friendships with other kids who have diabetes. A camp with swimming, canoeing, crafts, fireside sings-a-longs, games and more. Relaxed time for learning, with educational sessions covering nutrition, exercise and lifestyle management. This is an ideal setting for high school campers to participate in a special leadership program. Join us for a week of playing, learning and growing. The Camp Gilbert staff provides medical assistance for campers around the clock and includes: physicians nurses social workers diabetes educators dietitians adult volunteers experienced camp counselors
