Camp Setebaid at Swatara offers a Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) camp for teens ages 13-18 (must be 13 by June 1st and must be no older than 17 at the start of the camp) at Camp Swatara, in Bethel, Pennsylvania.  The camp site is located in the blue mountains of Southeastern Pennsylvania about 35 minutes from the Harrisburg Area and a little over an hour from the Philadelphia Area.  Activities include archery, arts & crafts, basketball, campfires, a high ropes course, climbing tower and zip line, gaga, fishing, nature education, singing, soccer, swimming in a pool with waterslides, volleyball and hiking.  Older teens may want to consider the Counselor-In-Training Program, which is by application and selection for teens aged 16-17.

Camp Setebaid at Swatara offers a Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) camp to train teens, aged 16-17, to become Counselors.  This Counselor-In-Training (CIT) Program is begun at Camp Swatara, in Bethel, Pennsylvania.  The camp site is located in the blue mountains of Southeastern Pennsylvania about 35 minutes from the Harrisburg Area and a little over an hour from the Philadelphia Area.  The program concludes at a session held at Camp Setebaid at Mount Luther in Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania.  The program includes activities like archery, arts & crafts, basketball, campfires, a high ropes course, climbing tower and zip line, gaga, fishing, nature education, singing, soccer, swimming in a pool with waterslides, volleyball and hiking.  To apply for this program, applications may be requested in January and are due in late January.  Selections for the program are made in February.
